Loading files iteratively for processing in Matlab

If you are a researcher and works in Machine Learning then your work certainly would involve data processing on Matlab. Feature engineering involves extracting features from large number of files(usually csv) and these files need to be parsed so they can be loaded iteratively and processed.

You can use following codes to get this job done-:

Save these two files in a folder and set the path to this folder in Matlab.

Execute this instruction to get the files parsed.

Extractor.PrepreocessSequences('location_of_your_files\*.csv');

” ” is a regular expression, using this all files which end with.csv will be loaded iteratively. All this code does is it parses the argument given to the function in three sections, location, filename and extension.

Now you only need to write feature extraction code  for one file and it will be accounted for all other files which need same processing.
